The trek is named Royal because the Prince of England visited the place through this route in the year of 1980. This is the easiest trek and is suitable for anyone who is physically fit and has no trekking experience. We can say this as the introductory Trekking for beginners. The trek is designed for the people who want to trek on the lower altitude appreciating the beautiful Annapurna Mountain Range. The trek also provides the chance to explore the local culture and lifestyle of villages across the trekking route. The commencement of this trek will be from the beautiful lake city Pokhara and crosses the beautiful villages overviewing Machhapuchhre, Annapurna, Langtang, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung, mountain range. The trek is also beneficial for the person who has a keen interest in learning lifestyle and culture. The route is basically famous with home stay (camping) more than lodges and hotel and because of this the tourist or visitors can get entire local experience. Attachments with local practices and sentiments will make you feel like home.

The best time to grab this trek is from September to May. However, depending on your request we can help you to design your trekking itinerary round the year.

The trail beings in a place called Bijaypur and reaching the altitude of 1730m and ends at distant of 5 km from Pokhara. The Annapurna Royal Trekking Route offers a diversity of natural resources, a variety of Flora and Fauna, dense forests, crystal lakes and traditional human settlements.

Annapurna Skyline Trek (The Royal Trek) Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)

Heartily welcome to you in Nepal. Our company Personnel will pick you up from Tribhuvan International Airport you will be transferred to three-star category hotel in a privately owned car. Hotel Check-in, resting time, freshen up time will be provided and you have to get ready for the meeting in the company office. The meeting includes the brief explanation of the activities, do and don’ts, and details description of the itinerary. Also, you will receive your permits to enter Annapurna Conservation Area. After the completion of the meeting you will be taken for welcome dinner accompanied with Nepali music, dance and cuisines in best typical Nepali restaurant with Nepali Themes. 

Day 02: Explore Kathmandu Valley and Trekking preparation (1,300m/4,264ft)

The sightseeing features some of the main landmarks and UNESCO world heritage sites of Kathmandu valley including Pashupatinath Temple, Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa. This trip will freshen up your mind and will provide the opportunity to come across the culture and tradition of Nepal. Similarly, you will also experience the ancient royal lifestyle. You will come to see the rituals, belief, and lifestyle of people around the Kathmandu valley. After the trip, all of you are requested to gather in our office for the remaining trek preparation like finalizing your clothing and training to handle the trekking gear if necessary.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m/2,690ft) 6 to 7 hour

The day will begin after your breakfast in the hotel. Total driving duration to Pokhara is around 6 to 7 hours in tourist bus and the distance is 200 km. You will get a chance to see the villages of Nepal, terrain farming, landscape hills and mountain on your way. You will see even Trishuli and Marsayndi River on your way. Your bus will stop for the lunch around one in highway hotels. After few hours you will reach Pokhara and our company representative will transfer you to a three-star hotel. Evening time will be utilized moving around lakeside and pubs and restaurants. Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 04: Hike from Pokhara to Kalikasthan

The first day of our trek begins driving from Pokhara to Kalikasthan and Bijaypur. Our trek starts just after crossing the Bridge over Bijaypur River.  From here, walking by the side of beautiful paddy fields and climbing to the top edge of Kalikasthan we will wrap up or trekking and will have the night stay in Teahouse.

Day 05: Trek to Syaklung

After having our normal breakfast in Kalikasthan we now head towards Syaklung. The second day of our trek route to Thaulakhet to Mathi Thana reaching the top of the edge with an incredible view from Naudanda. The trail will follow till Lipeyani Village and after the few hours of climbing up, we will reach the ethnic Gurung Village called Syaklung for an overnight home stay.

Day 06: Trek to Chisopani

The trek beings after breakfast and climbs upwards about 400 m to the south edge of the mountain, via Gurung community village. The lustrous view of rhododendron forest blossomed with red flowers will attract towards its beauty and compel us to sit under the tree for a while. Appreciating the beauty of nature, we will now reach to a place called Chautara, a junction spot in village comprising of tea shops and markets where the villagers gather during evening time for informal talks and rest. By the side of the chautara, the road will separate towards Begnas Lake and Marshyangdi River. Coming down around 600 m low, we now follow the windy track leading to Chisopani villages. Our main target for the day will be hiking up to the temple situated in Chisopani Danda. Returning back from Chisopani Dada to Chisopani we will spend our night in a homestay.

Day 07: Trek to Begnas Lake and drive to Pokhara

The last day of our trek we will hike to Begnas Lake and will drive to Pokhara from there. The track goes down for around one hour and after climbing down with stone steps we will reach the small valley. We can also enjoy the beauty of Rupa and Begnas Lake and its territories walking up to the area where two lakes is separated through the ridge. We climb down to Begnas Tal bazaar and will take a short drive to Pokhara in privately own vehicles. You can enjoy your evening exploring the markets and periphery. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 08: Drive Pokhara to Kathmandu

You will be transferred to the nearby bus station for your departure to Kathmandu. The bus will leave early morning to Kathmandu in Prithivi Highway. You will be getting one last opportunity to see the terrain, beautiful landscapes, fields, hotels, and motels each side of the highway. You will be stopped twice for your refreshments breakfast and Lunch. You will arrive Kathmandu in around 7 hours. And then advised taking hotel transfer. After freshen up we will pick you up to enjoy the traditional authentic Nepalese Style Dinner. It will be hosted by the company as a Farewell dinner celebrating our success over Annapurna base camp.

Day 09: Departure / Farewell day

This will be your last day in Kathmandu and our company staff will pick you up from hotel to airport depending on your flight schedule. If you wish to add some more days to your trip or want to explore more about Nepal we are ready to help you in every matter 24/7.
