Annapurna Circuit Trek is one of the highest-ranking treks in the world. The Trek revolves around the central part of Nepal in Annapurna Mountain. Annapurna Circuit Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)

Heartily welcome to you in Nepal. Our company Personnel will pick you up from Tribhuvan International Airport you will be transferred to three-star category hotel in a privately owned car. Hotel Check-in, resting time, freshen up time will be provided and you have to get ready for the meeting in the company office. The meeting includes the brief explanation of the activities, do and don’ts, and details description of the itinerary. Also, you will receive your permits to enter Annapurna Conservation Area. After the completion of the meeting you will be taken for welcome dinner accompanied with Nepali music, dance and cuisines in best typical Nepali restaurant with Nepali Themes.  

Day 2: Explore Kathmandu Valley and Trekking preparation (1,300m/4,264ft)

The sightseeing features some of the main landmarks and UNESCO world heritage sites of Kathmandu valley including Pashupatinath Temple, Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa. This trip will freshen up your mind and will provide the opportunity to come across the culture and tradition of Nepal. Similarly, you will also experience the ancient royal lifestyle. You will come to see the rituals, belief, and lifestyle of people around the Kathmandu valley. After the trip, all of you are requested to gather in our office for the remaining trek preparation like finalizing your clothing and training to handle the trekking gear if necessary.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Besisahar(760m/2,493ft) 6 to 7 hour

The day will begin after your breakfast in the hotel. Total driving duration to Pokhara is around 6 to 7 hours in tourist bus and the distance is 200 km. You will get a chance to see the villages of Nepal, terrain farming, landscape hills and mountain on your way. You will see even Trishuli and Marsayndi River on your way. Your bus will stop for the lunch around one in highway hotels. After few hours you will reach Besisahar and our company representative will transfer you to lodge. Evening time will be utilized moving around markets, shops, and restaurants. Overnight at Besisahar.

Day 04: Hiking to Bahundanda 6 ½  hours (1,398m/45,86ft)

The hike will begin just after the breakfast commencing hour journey through dusty road pointing north. The track will reach to Khudi and Bhulbhule leaving the scenic view of paddy fields, terraced farming. Beautiful green forest, waterfalls and the cold air breezing from Manaslu (8156m) Mountain will keep our body cool and energetic. After crossing the suspension bridge of Nagdi River we climb up till we reach Bahundada. The place is the joint locality of Tamang and Gurung people. The day we will stay overnight in Baundada.

Day 05: Trekking to Chamje, 5 to 6 hours (1410m/4625 ft)

As soon as we finish our breakfast, we continue the path that will take us to Syange which is at 1070m. The steep walkway leads you up to another waterfall. Even this in the trail you can see rice terrace, lush forest, and amazing landmass along with traditional villages which worth your effort.You will reach the place called Jagat after you cross the suspension bridge of Marshyangdi River. You will definitely enjoy the flowing sounds and music of the river which will pull your heart just close to nature. From there you step up to Chamje and overnight in a lodge.

Day 06: Chamje to Bagarchhap, 6 ½ hours, (2080 m / 6824 ft)

Today we will reach the Himalayan district of Manang. So, just after the quick breakfast, we will start our journey up and down through rocky hills and Marshyangdi river. As we climb a bit up to the hills we will reach the place called Tal Phedi. From there few hour of the walk will take you to discover the beauty of Manang and its 1st village named as Tal. The trails feature the crops like maize, corn, potato, and barley back dropping the reddish rhododendron forest and greenish bamboo bushes. Manang is the village of Manage who are influenced by the typical Tibetan culture with Buddhist religion. It is also believed that still some decades ago the place used to be ruled by a local king and hence, Manang was so called the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal. After few hours of ups and down we will reach to Dharapani which will pave our way to our destination called Bagarchhap. The apple trees, mini Buddhist Chaitya, a gompa and the colorful flags written with holy chants flapping with the cold air breezing from the Himalayas will make you forget your efforts and struggle.

Day 07: Bagarchhap to Chame, 5 hours walk, (2720m/8923 ft)

After the completion of breakfast in Bagarchhap we look forward our journey towards Chame. On our way, we come across two routes where we took the higher route to enhance our view of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV. The easy hike will take you to Chame, a district capital of Manang. This is the biggest human inhabitants in the region and is also the financial hub. It is believed that the people from Tibet migrated to this place centuries ago. The Chame has the hot spring and the trekkers can enjoy the bath on the edge of the river in order to relax.

Day 08: Chame to Pissang. 5 hours of walk, 3060 m/ 10039 ft)

After your breakfast at Chame, we start our trek keeping maple and oak forest on the background. We step to Pissang after 5 hours of walk. On our way, we face the two extended bridge and which is also the bending path. You can see the Paungda rock face, a rock facing curved block. This is the path which links Pissang from this point. It is also the way to Thorang La Pass. It is suggested to climb upper Pissang in order to have acclimatization. Overnight stay will be in Pissang.

Day 09: Pissang to Manang, 5 hours, (3440m/11286 ft)

The trek will begin after your breakfast and today we will climb to the more arid higher level of Manang region. From Pissang you will have two options route either you take a north route which is even harder in comparison as we all know difficult road often leads to beautiful destinations. The route will feature exciting localities, Traditional Gompa, Monastery and the elegant view of Annapurna. On the contrary, the south route is easy to walk through the place called Hongde. Mungji is a place where this two path intersects. And from the point, the trail will take to Bryanga and finally leave to Manang. Overnight stay lodge in Manang.

Day 10: Rest Day

Today we will spend our day in rest and acclimatization as we need more adaptability and energy to climb higher altitude. If interested, you can join us for a short hike to Gangapurna glacier and cave higher in altitude than Manang. If not then you can spend your day praising the beauty, acquainting with culture and people of Manang.

Day 11: Manang to Letdar, 5 to 6 hours walk, 4230 m/13877 ft)

The day begins early after the breakfast in Manang and climbing higher to Letdar. The trail follows Tenki Manang, Jarsang Khola Valley, and Ghunsa Pass back dropping juniper and alpine grass until Yak Kharka. This is the ideal place where the localities will graze their cattle like yak and horse. After walking steep around one hour you will finally reach the place called Letdar where you will spend your night in a lodge.

Day 12: Trek to Thorang Phedi, 4 hours, (4450m/14599ft)

The Thorang Phedi walk seems little easy in the initial phase while you climb down to the river to insect at wooden bridge and from then you have to step up until you reach the teashop. After few hours walk, you will discover Thorang Phedi. If you wish to hike more you can trek until Thorang higher camp where you can enjoy the view of rock cliffs that split with the wide gorges. It is unlike possible to find the vegetation but instead, you can enjoy your evening in lodge and guest house. For overnight, drop down to Thorang Phedi.

Day 13: Thorang Phedi to Muktinath via Thorang La Pass, 8 hours (3760 m / 12335 ft)

Today will be the longest day as we have to achieve Thorang La pass which is at the highest point of our trip (5416 m). We have to begin our day as quickly as possible because the pass will have aggressive wind after 10 am. After our breakfast, we being our upward climbing for around 4 hours which will take us to the biggest pass in the world called Thorang La Pass. You can appreciate the amazing view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri and you can even see the colorful flags and Chotens blowing with the wind. Reaching the Pass is the major achievement in life which you will never forget in your lifetime. After the quick photo session, we start our journey downwards to Muktinath. We will be exploring Muktinath just after four hours of climbing down. Overnight in Muktinath.

Muktinath (The God of Salvation) is one of the famous pilgrimages of Hindu and Buddhist. The temple has a shrine of Lord Vishnu. The place is also famous for a pilgrimage. Every day, a number of domestic and international devotees come here to worship and for seeking a boon. Hindu believe the temple as salvation where Buddhist regards this point of Nirvana. The place owes two ponds (Kundas) and one hundred eight Water taps in its premises. And the peoples and devotees have the strong belief that anyone who takes a holy bath in this pond or taps, their evil deeds or sins will be washed away and your soul will receive salvation. Also, believe that the God will open the way to heaven in some localities. In its periphery, you will also get a chance to see Lakhag, Gonde gompa, and Temple of Jwala Mai. Moreover, you will be astonished seeing the fire flame burned through natural gas.

Day 14: Muktinath to Marpha, 6 hours, (3500 m / 11,482 ft)

Marpha is the small community village in Mustang district dominated with huge monasteries and human dwelling. Our trip will begin downhills directing the Kaligandaki Valley. You have to pave your way through a bank of Kaligandaki River and if you are fortunate enough then you may succeed in locating some fossils stone called “Shaligram”. The holy stone is considered as the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. While climbing down, you will reach the place called Jomsom, famous as the windiest place in Nepal. You will also get a chance to see the menacing airport. In the evening will reach Marpha to appreciate the apple country where will get a chance to taste the Apple orchid produced locally in apple brandy factory. You will spend your night in Marpha.\

Day 15: Marpha to Ghasa, 6 hours (2010m/6594 ft)

The trek continues after your breakfast in Marpha. You will step down towards Ghasa succeeding the free flowing Kaligandaki river. You will also be able to locate the beautiful view of Annapurna, Tukuche, Dhaulagiri, and Nilgiri. The rough and dusty trail will take you to Ghasa. Overnight stay in the lodge.

Day 16: Ghasa to Tatopani, 4 hours, (1190 m/ 3904 ft)

The trek will feature the largest waterfall of the region called “Rupse waterfall”. After your breakfast in Ghasa you will hike down to reach Tatopani experiencing beautiful landmass and sandy riverbanks. You will also appreciate the deepest gorge in the world called Kopchepani. After your move towards Tatopani, you will be blessed to dip yourself in hot springs and enjoy your rest of the evening. Tonight stay at a lodge in Tatopani.

Day 17: Trek From Ghasa to Ghorepani, 7 to 8 hours, (3194/10, 479 ft)

After your breakfast, the journey follows the river to pass from the suspension bridge. You will reach a junction where you will find two paths one lead to Beni and other to Ghorepani. We will choose a higher trail for the perfect scenery. You have to climb vertical steps throughout the trip which drops you to a village called Sikha. The trail casts the attractions like rhododendron forest and the interesting view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range. Trekkers also can enjoy the local and ethnic lifestyle and tradition of Gurung and Magar communities on the road to the destination. Overnight in Ghorepani.

Day 18: Trek to Poon Hill and hike to Pokhara, 7 hours, 1890m/6200 ft)

The day is the beautiful day of your trip as you are going to walk to poon hill, one and only vantage point of this trip where you can see the amazing view of Annapurna region. You will reach the place climbing 45 minutes steep hills from Ghorepani. The major objective of the early morning trip to Poon hill will be for watching Sunrise. The view of golden view of Fishtail, Annapurna, Hiumchuli, Mardi, Dhaulagiri will take your breath away slowly as the light will beat the darkness. After the stunning view, you will return to Ghorepani to have breakfast. After the breakfast, you will begin your journey towards Bhanthani from where you have to pass through the forest to make your steps towards Nayapul. Our company staff will be awaiting you to drive you to the hotel and they will assist you in hotel check in. You can use up your time to enjoy with trekking group for rest of the evening or you can enjoy alone shopping souvenir and gift for your loved ones.

Day 19: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, 7 hours, (1300m/4264 ft)

You will be transferred to the nearby bus station for your departure to Kathmandu. The bus will leave early morning to Kathmandu in Prithivi Highway. You will be getting one last opportunity to see the terrain, beautiful landscapes, fields, hotels, and motels each side of the highway. You will be stopped twice for your refreshments breakfast and Lunch. You will arrive Kathmandu in around 7 hours. And then advised taking hotel transfer. After freshen up we will pick you up to enjoy the traditional authentic Nepalese Style Dinner. It will be hosted by the company as a Farewell dinner celebrating our success over Annapurna circuit trek.

Day 20: Departure / Farewell day
